ECR Pilot Project Funding

We are extremely excited to announce our latest Early Career Researcher funding call!

This funding call is focused on supporting Early Career Researchers (ECRs) develop their own projects by providing funding for data collection for pilot projects.The Circadian Mental Health Network are able to fund three pilot projects is the field of mental health, sleep and circadian rhythms, up to £20,000.



We encourage ECRs to carefully plan the future sustainability of their projects before applying to this fund. We are looking to fund projects which have been carefully planned, where their development will be supported by future grants to provide a greater understanding of the important relationships between mental health, sleep and circadian rhythms. This funding call is primarily designed to support pilot project data collection.



This funding call is open to all ECRs working at the interface of mental health, sleep and circadian rhythms. Our previous funding call saw applicants from all over the world, and we hope to reach even more diverse applications to this latest call.




We look forward to applications from ECRs with projects which aligns with the Circadian Mental Health Network’s principles, including, open data science and the inclusion of voices of lived experience.
